Biography
Dr. Zare holds a PhD in data science from Amirkabir University of Technology and works on data analysis, data mining and social-network analysis across applied domains. His current focus is mining and summarising massive networked data with machine-learning methods, in collaboration with research centres and knowledge-based companies.
He has supervised numerous doctoral and master's students who now work in leading domestic companies or pursue doctorates at international universities. Through the Information Mining and Cognition Laboratory he founded, he has published more than 30 papers in leading international journals including IEEE TKDE and IEEE TNNLS, along with more than 10 papers in national journals.
